What is Candle Gel?
Candle Gel is a transparent, rubbery substance that can be used instead
of paraffin waxes.
What type of container do I need?
Candle gel is flexible and must be put into some kind of container: glass
jars, clay pots, mugs, etc.
Can Candle Gel be coloured and fragranced?
Yes. But like paraffin waxes, not all colours and fragrances are soluble.
Colour needs to be mixed in, so test first to make sure.
What temperature do I need to pour at?
The best temperature is about 100°C.
What different effects can I get?
There are many effects: suspended airbubbles (pour colder and quicker
than normal), or suspend charms, glitter, or objects to name a few.
What ply wick is the best to use?
The size and shape of the container determines the wick to use. The larger
the diamter the thicker the wick.
